Well, it does. Whether we like it or not.

I've graduated high school last month, managed to give a graduation speech without having a complete panic attack, and college starts for me in August... In my opinion, time goes by waaaayyyy too fast. Much too fast to actually get a job and hold it. What sense is there to start working and then have to quit a month later? My college is a state or two away, mind you. Don't get me wrong, though. I've tried and applied before, during high school. It just never worked. Either I didn't have a car, or I wasn't eighteen, or I didn't quite fit.

So, as final orientation and dorm move-in day approaches ever closer... I thought of doing commission work to get a sort of income rolling in. Whether it be writing small stories or drawing or painting. I just don't know much about this business. How does it work? How does the client get the original artwork and how would I receive payment? Mailing, probably... But what about privacy with addresses or whatever?  I'd kinda like to avoid any stalkers and getting random and creepy gifts in the mail. What about currency that isn't in US dollars? I figured I would just shove the questions out there and see what answers echo back.

And I know I gotta upload more pictures on here for better examples. I'm working on it. Somehow I've switched back to traditional media and put the tablet away for a bit. I'll toggle between paper and tablet depending on the commission.

Let me know what you think, please? I need to get this ball rolling as soon as possible. Constructive criticism is always appreciated as well.
